2026 High School Honor Choir Student Registration

Student Expectations

Following is a list of expectations for all participants in the Idaho International Choral Festival High School Honor Choir:
 
  1. Students must bring concert attire for some of the performances.
    • Women: Black dress OR black shirt and black pants with black shoes.
    • Men: Black shirt and black pants with black tie and black shoes.
  2. Students must learn their parts in the provided Honor Choir music packet prior to arriving at the Festival.
  3. Students must bring a black ½-inch binder for their music and a pencil for marking their music.
  4. Students are expected to attend and be on time for all rehearsals, performances, and activities.
  5. Students are expected to fully cooperate with their assigned chaperone.
  6. Students and parents agree to photographs being taken in the official capacity of the events, which may be used for promotional purposes.
  7. Possession or use of alcohol or illegal drugs of any kind is prohibited. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal from the Festival. Parents and proper legal authorities will be contacted immediately. There will be no refund of fees.
  8. Harassment of any kind toward another person (discrimination, sexual gestures, hazing, etc.) will not be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal.  Parents will be contacted immediately.  There will be no refund of fees.
  9. Students and/or parents will assume full financial responsibility for damage to any property or equipment belonging to the Idaho International Choral Festival or Idaho State University.
  10. For safety reasons, all students must wear their identification badges at all times.
  11. Students are expected to immediately notify their chaperone if it becomes necessary for them to withdraw from the Festival and the High School Honor Choir.
  12. Students are expected to stay with their assigned group and may not go anywhere on the ISU campus alone.

REMINDER: All students are expected to attend all activities including rehearsals, meals, concerts, and any other events.

By submitting this registration form, the student agrees to adhere to the above expectations and acknowledges that removal from the Festival may result for any violation of these expectations. Registration is subject to approval and may be denied based on choir director recommendation.

Registration Fee

  • The $300 registration fee will cover housing, meals, activities, transportation at the Festival, and a Festival T-shirt.
    • A $100 deposit is due no later than Friday, May 29, 2026. It is non-refundable after this date.
    • The remaining $200 balance is due no later than Friday, June 19, 2026.
  • Accommodations will be at Rendezvous Hall on the Idaho State University campus.
  • Students must bring their own linen packet (sheets, pillow, pillowcase, towel, blanket) to be used for the duration of the Festival. Linen packets can be rented for $12 per person per night.
  • Transportation to and from the Festival is not provided.
  • The $200 registration fee will cover meals, activities, transportation at the Festival, and a Festival T-shirt.
    • A $100 deposit is due no later than Friday, May 29, 2026. It is non-refundable after this date.
    • The remaining $100 balance is due no later than Friday, June 19, 2026.
  • The student must sleep at home and be transported to and from the Festival each day.
